A big congratulations for passing the Endeavor Selection Panel — this makes these serial entrepreneurs, who are also Endeavor Alumni, Endeavor Entrepreneurs for a second time!
In 2019, iiDENTIFii was founded by Gur Geva(CEO), Lance Fanaroff(Strategy Director) and Robert Sussman(Investor) and the second business they’ve co-founded. In 2001, Robert and Lance successfully launched Integr8, which was subsequently sold in 2012 to Business Connexion, South Africa’s largest data storage service provider at the time.
In only 3 years since its founding, this AI Software-as-a-Service Scale Up has gained steady traction amongst South Africa’s top retail banks and is continuing to build out its customer base across Africa, through a partnership with Africa’s leading retail bank, Standard Bank.
iiDENTIFii is a world leading technology solution, offering remote facial biometric digital authentication and automated onboarding for enterprises. The solution enables enterprises to authenticate their clients and/or staff, through remote 3-way facial biometric digital checks. By using a frictionless, non-invasive, automated and proven process the technology solution meets both the intelligence, risk and compliance needs as well as the governance and legislative goals of the customer. iiDENTIFii plugs seamlessly into existing infrastructures, including mobile and web-based platforms and the team holds the patented software in the “live-ness” space, making them global leaders in this field!
We asked the team at iiDentifi to answer some questions about what motivated them to join the Endeavor Network and what their experience at Endeavor has been so far and what they are most looking forward to in their Endeavor journey. This is what they had to say:
Lance Fanaroff: We were privileged to have been part of Endeavor Entrepreneur Network many years ago, when Endeavor was still in its infancy. Since then, Endeavor has grown and expanded and has become exponentially more impactful for entrepreneurs globally. We view it as exceptionally powerful network of successful entrepreneurs and well established, renowned business leaders. For iiDENTIFii to have access to and receive tailored on-demand mentoring from experienced entrepreneurs and business leaders in South Africa and around the world is something we value highly.
Gur Geva: Albeit only recently joining Endeavor earlier this month, our experience to date has been very positive and productive. It has been very motivating to engage with other leading entrepreneurs, business people (including the likes of Herman Bosman: CEO of RMI and Ajen Sita: CEO of EY Africa who we met in early June) and successful entrepreneurs, locally and globally, in the Endeavor network.
We look forward to connecting and engaging with other highly impactful entrepreneurs and successful leaders across the network. By doing this we will ‘endeavor’ to grow from their experience, working on mutually beneficial opportunities and we look forward to paying-it-forward and sharing our learnings with up and coming entrepreneurs through Endeavor’s network.
The iiDENTIFii team is currently made up of 20 staff who are based in their HQ in Cape Town. iiDENTIFii’s mission is to stop identity fraud, safe-guard businesses and their customers from identity theft and enable financial inclusion.
